Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you walk multiple dogs at the same time?
A: Pawsitively Perfect Pooches is a private walking service. We only walk dogs from single homes. But unlike most competitors, we do not charge for a second dog from the same home. We do offer small group hikes, which max at four dogs. But all of our 30 and 60-minute dog walks are private.
Q: Do you offer group walks at a discount?
A: At this time, we do not. Although we have occasionally been asked about this by neighbors whose dogs are already friends and have been able to work out an arrangement. We try to be as reasonable and accommodating as possible to our two-legged and four-legged clients, so please ask and we'll try our best to work something out for you!
Q: Can you just stop in for a few minutes for a lower price?
A: No, sorry, at this time 30 minutes is our shortest visit.
Q: Can I guarantee the same walker every time?
A: We do not guarantee the same walker. We always like to have a backup plan in place in case something comes up so we don't have to cancel. We keep our team very small and every walker is thoroughly training and very dog savvy and experienced. We offer the best walks in the business with 100% reliability. When a problem arises due to traffic or a walker out sick, we aim to find a solution so that clients aren't bothered.
Q: Can you feed my dog or give him medication?
A: Absolutely! Since PPP walks are private they are also completely customizable. While we are with your pooch we can do most anything, within reason. Some dogs do a mix of play time and walking outside, some have lunch or dinner and we've also had many older dogs that required special care or medication. Just ask and we should be able to make it work!
Q: What kind of collar should I use?
A: We use regular collars, martingales, easy walk harnesses, halti/gentle leaders, and sporn no pull harnesses. We are open to other possibilities, so please ask. The only type of leash we don't use are the retractable time due to safety and injury issues. But we always have a spare leash with us, so we're happy to use ours if need be.
Q: Do you bring treats?
A: Due to food allergy concerns, we only use treats our clients provide.
